Sukhoi Su-7UM 2-seat combat trainer 116 at Krakow

Photographed at the Krakow Aviation Museum (Muzeum Lotnictwa Polskiego Instytucja Kultury Wojewodztwa Malopolskegoo) on 12 August 2008.
This is a 2-seat trainer version of the Su-7. The prototype made its first flight in 1965.
The design was based on the Su-7BM airframe, but included a brake parachute container under the fin and rocket boosters. The fuselage was lengthened by 8 inches to accommodate the second cockpit.
The increased weight of this 2-seater reduced fuel capacity and bomb load, although the aircraft was still capable of carrying a nuclear weapon.

Span: 30.5 ft, Length: 55.8 fy, Wing area: 365.9 sq ft.
Engine: AL-7F-1-250 turbojet rated at 21,164 lb with afterburner.
Max. speed: 1,117 knots, Ceiling: 55,760 ft, Range: 540 nm.
