Single seat naval jet fighter photographed in the 'Carrier' section of the FAA Museum at RNAS Yeaovilton, on 21 April 2013. See also picture #11358.
Delivered to Culdrose RDU on 25 July 1951, and allocated to 800 NAS on 17 August 1951, going to Ford as '102/J' on 4 October 1951.
Served on HMS Eagle briefly in 1952, then at shore stations until wihdrawn on 30 August 1954 to Airwork General Trading at Gatwick. On to pole at RNAS Abbotsinch as gate Guard in January 1957, finally taken down on 1 August 1963 and arrived at the Museum in September 1963.
