WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT !

Was I believe the first words said when a ME262 was first spotted. He was the pilot of a 540sqd Mosquito on a reconnaissance flight on the 26th, July 1944 and the aircraft had just been attacked and damaged by the first turbojet to enter the war. It would have been similar to this ME262A-2a 112373, seen here outside the RAF Museum, Hendon in 1976.

This aircraft is supposed to be at the RAF Cosford Museum now, but during several visits there I have never seen it. Can anyone say exactly where it is?
