A METEOR IN NEWARK
On a dreadful day at Newark pleasing to come across Gloster Meteor T7 VZ634 dating from 1949 (same age as me!) It was delivered to 247 sqd, with whom it remained until transferring to the RAAF and serving with 601, 141 and 41 sqds. Went to 5MU in 1964 and finally to Newark in 1985.
