This is P-51D c/n 122-40965, ex-44-74425, RCAF 9591 and numerous US civil registrations. Restored after a landing accident in 1972.
The markings are from the 359th Fighter Squadron, 356th Fighter Group of the 8th Air Force. They were based at Martlesham Heath, Suffolk, from October to November 1943.
