The entire fleet of Grob 115E Tutor aircraft used by the RAF for training and maintained by defence contractor Babcock has been grounded. None have flown since 9 January 2013 after a propeller broke off in flight, prompting an emergency landing at RAF Cranwell. A similar incident had taken place on 23 August 2012, also near Cranwell. Babcock and the German manufacturer are blaming each other.
